Die legendäre britische Rockband Thunder hat die jüngste ihrer fortlaufenden erweiterten Wiederveröffentlichungen bei BMG angekündigt.

„The Thrill Of It All“, „Giving The Game Away“ und „Shooting At The Sun“ werden zum ersten Mal seit ihrer ursprünglichen Veröffentlichung als 2LP Vinyl sowie als CD-Digipak erhältlich sein. Alle drei Veröffentlichungen auf Vinyl und CD enthalten außerdem seltene, gelöschte und unveröffentlichte Bonustracks und werden am 20. Oktober veröffentlicht.

Die Band hat heute ein Lyric-Video für eine bisher ungehörte Live-Version von „Rolling The Dice“ aus „Giving The Game Away“ veröffentlicht, die 2007 in Nottingham Rock City aufgenommen wurde. 

„The Thrill Of It All“ wurde 1996 veröffentlicht und erreichte Platz 14 der UK Album Charts. Zum ersten Mal seit 25 Jahren wird das Album in limitierter Auflage auf pinkem und klarem Doppelvinyl erhältlich sein. Das Album enthielt wichtige Thunder-Tracks wie „Living for Today“, „Love Worth Dying For“ und „Pilot Of My Dreams“, und die erweiterte Version enthält Bonus-Live-Versionen ausgewählter Songs des Albums.

Das 1999 veröffentlichte „Giving The Game Away“ wurde (wie alle diese drei Veröffentlichungen) von Thunder-Gitarrist Luke Morley produziert und zeigte Thunders charakteristische kraftvolle Riffs und eingängige Melodien, während sie ihren Sound weiterentwickelten. Mit dieser Veröffentlichung wird das Album zum ersten Mal seit 1999 auf grünem und senfgelbem Doppelvinyl in limitierter Auflage erhältlich sein. 

Thunders sechstes Studioalbum „Shooting At The Sun“ wurde 2003 veröffentlicht, nachdem sich die Band zwei Jahre zuvor kurzzeitig aufgelöst hatte, und wurde als ihr wohl bestes und vielseitigstes Album seit „Laughing On Judgement Day“ gefeiert. Es wird zum ersten Mal auf Vinyl erhältlich sein (lila und orangefarbenes Doppelvinyl), während das Original nur auf CD erhältlich war. Es enthält Tracks wie ‚Loser‘ und ‚Blown Away‘.
